Shared Space

front porch dining room

The front porch, living room, and dining room are available for guests to relax in and make themselves comfortable any time of day. You may find yourself drinking afternoon tea in the dining room while using your laptop, enjoying the covered front porch in the summer, or curled up with a book in the living room.

Guest Rooms

All of our guest rooms are outfitted with feather beds, down comforters and pillows, and 800 count cotton sheets. Non-down bedding is available upon request.

Bedrooms 1, 2, and 3 are located privately on the second floor and are accessed from the front foyer of the house. Each room has an energy efficient mini-split unit so that guests can control their own room temperature for year round heating and air conditioning.

Bedroom 4 is located on the main level of the house and looks out into the west facing bamboo. This room has it's own air conditioner and is ideal for those who wish to not climb stairs.

Breakfast

We offer a homemade breakfast served in the dining room Monday - Friday at 8:30 a.m. and on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. Everyone is seated together giving you the opportunity to meet the other guests and to get to know your hosts.

We incorporate products from our own garden, local businesses and organic farms.

Early risers can help themselves to organic coffee (Stumptown Coffee Roasters) or a pot of loose tea (The Jasmine Pearl).

 with advance notice
We will do our best to accommodate specific dietary needs (ie, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, vegan, decaf, etc.)

Communications

We have no televisions. We have free code accessed wi-fi throughout the house. A selections of books and dvds (viewed on your laptop) are available near the staircase on the second floor for your enjoyment during your visit.
