Payment & Cancellations

In order to guarantee your reservation a credit card is required. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express; your card will be charged as follows unless other arrangements have been made.

Standard Reservation 1 - 4 nights
Your credit card will be charged 7 days prior to your arrival. We require at least 7 days advance notice of cancellation prior to the date of arrival.

Group Reservations (2 or more rooms) or 5+ nights
Your credit card will be charged 30 days prior to your arrival. We require at least 30 days advance notice of cancellation prior to the date of arrival.

Children
Due to the nature of the guesthouse, we are unable to accommodate guests under 10 years of age.  

Cancellations
All cancellations must be in writing via email, or letter. We will confirm your cancellation via email within 24 hours. There is a $25 processing fee for all canceled reservations. Please contact us if you have not received confirmation of your cancellation. Late cancellations are eligible for a refund only if the room(s) are re-booked. If owner needs to cancel a reservation for any reason prior to check-in all money will be refunded. 

Early Departure
There is no refund or credit for early departure.

Bicycle Parking
Secure, covered bike parking is available for guests who bring bicycles; please ask for details as bikes are not allowed inside the guesthouse. 

Room Cleaning
It is not our policy to service your room during your stay; however, if your stay exceeds one week we can arrange, at your request, to clean your room, change linens, etc. Fresh towels available upon request.

Medical Concerns & Mobility  
We are NOT wheel chair accessible and stair climbing is required. As a result our Guesthouse is not suitable for everyone. 

Smoking
The Guesthouse is a non-smoking establishment. Guests are allowed to smoke on the front porch only, ashtray provided.

Pets
Regrettably no pet/animals are allowed inside the Guesthouse (we have hens in the backyard coop only.)
